We make all of our pieces right here in sunny, salty, sandy Australia. Each piece is handmade by us!

Due to the handmade nature of our products, each piece may differ slightly in length. However we aim to stick to approx. 68-75cm. That allows your chain to sit comfortably when you take your sunnies off and have them hanging from your neck.

We can’t guarantee they will fit onto sunnies with very wide arms. We recommend using them with a pair of sunnies with thinner arms. We’d suggest a maximum width of 1.5cm.

Due to the natural and handmade nature of our pieces, there may be slight variations in size and colour of the beads, and slight imperfections from piece to piece. This means each piece is totally unique.

Try your best to avoid submerging them into water as we cannot guarantee how they will hold up in a wet environment

Funny you ask! Our co-owner, Tess, is a curly girl herself. She has been wearing and testing out our chains for over a year now, and has never had any issues with them getting caught in her hair. We obviously can’t guarantee this won’t happen, but from our experience it has never been an issue.

At this stage we don’t, but we do plan to in the future. If you sign up to our email list you’ll be the first to know when we begin taking custom orders.

Your sunnies chains will come in a cotton jewellery pouch to keep them safe. They’ll be mailed in a 100% recyclable mailer. The Bead & Thread stickers on the mailer are 100% compostable. Be sure to remove our stickers and place them into your compost bin, or bury them in your garden! Then you can pop your mailer straight into the recycling bin – or even better, re-use it!
